What is HeadsTails?

HeadsTails (HT) is a platform, hosted on Binance Smart Chain, where you can bet on the future on just about anything with cryptocurrency. (Not available to users in the USA and Costa Rica).

It's a crowd-powered platform for predicting future events using cryptocurrency.

Categories include politics, world events, sports, science and just about anything else!

Are you registered and do you have a license?

HT is a startup based in Costa Rica. We are based here because Costa Rica provides a great option for startups like us to "test the water" before we spend large sums on licensing. There is no real gaming license that exists in Costa Rica, especially not for the activties we will be carrying out on the platform.

The local government is very welcoming to crypto. There are also no laws or regulations in place for online gaming/gambling operators who wish to use cryptocurrency or digital payments. This means that Costa Rica is a popular location for iGaming startups and entrepreneurs that want to use crypto to facilitate payments.

In the future, as the platform gets mainstream adoption, we plan to move and apply for a Curacao Gaming License. This will allow us to display our official license number on the site and will also be an opportunity to diversify our portfolio offerings in future.

What blockchain is HeadsTails built on?

HT is built on the BNB Smart Chain, also known as the Binance Smart Chain or simply as BSC.

What Tokens do I need to take part in questions?

You will need BUSD (BEP-20) and BNB (BEP-20) in your DeFi wallet. BUSD is the currency of the platform while BNB is used to pay gas feed
